What can I expect after treatment?
SkinPen is considered a minimal downtime treatment. Immediately after your treatment your skin will look slightly pink to moderately red. Skin care products will be recommended for your post care based on your individual skin, these will greatly minimize symptoms and enhance your overall results. Most all patients see results after the first treatment; however, a series of treatments is typically recommended for best results. While subtle changes can be detected just a few days after the treatment, true changes or results are seen within 1-2 weeks. New collagen & elastin formation in the skin are documented as visually and measurably improved as much as one year after just one treatment. The overall result will last longer when using an at home skin care regimen.
